On Friday, Feb. 28, former Miamisburg High School standout Austin Amburgey’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Niagara Purple Eagles.

The game took place at Emory G. Bauer Field. This was their first matchup against the Purple Eagles this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Niagara Purple Eagles.
