On Friday, Jan. 31, former Carroll High School standout Mathew McMahan’s current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Alabama Tigers.
The game took place at Tartt Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at Tartt Field against West Alabama Tigers.
