On Sunday, March 2, former Carroll High School standout Mathew McMahan’s current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, lost 10-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. This was their third matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Montevallo Falcons.
