On Saturday, March 15, former Miamisburg High School standout Austin Amburgey’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3:10 p.m. at Ball Diamond against Ball State Cardinals.
