City of Springboro issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.
Under the newly amended ordinance, the City of Springboro’s Official Website and/or select Social Media Sites will be the principal Posting Places to fulfill this legal requirement following the ordinance’s effective date of September 21, 2020. In addition or in lieu of publication using the previously stated internet based places, the City may post such items at the following places: Springboro Municipal Building, Springboro Performing Arts Center and Springboro Public Library or by legal advertisement in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipal corporation.
The amended section of the City’s code pertaining to Posting Places is as follows:

224.01 POSTING PLACES. (Effective September 21, 2020)
(a) The City shall post ordinances, resolutions, statements, orders, proclamations, notices and reports required by law to be published, or a succinct summary thereof, on the City’s official website and/or select social media sites.
(b) In addition or in lieu of the publication in subsection (a) above, the City may post such items at the following public places:
(1) Springboro Municipal Building;
(2) Springboro Performing Arts Center;
(3) Springboro Public Library.
(c) Nothing herein shall prevent the City from posting the item or a succinct summary thereof in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipal corporation.
(d) All postings or publications of summaries shall contain notice that the complete text of each such ordinances, resolutions, statements, orders, proclamations, notices and reports, required by law to be published, may be obtained or viewed by contacting the Office of the Clerk of Council of this Municipality
