VRB and RECORDS COMMISSION VACANCY
City Council is looking to fill a seat on the Village Review Board and the Records Commission. Board and Commission members are volunteers who have specific authority and duties relative to the baord as follows:
The Village Review Board consists of five members selected by City Council. The board meets as needed. Members’ responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of the Overlay Ordinance for the Old Village District including review of new construction, renovation of existing buildings, demolition, and all signs for businesses in the old village.
The functions of the Records Commission shall be to provide rules for the retention and disposal of records of the City and to review applications for one-time records disposal and schedules of records retention and disposition submitted by Municipal offices. Records may be disposed of by the Commission pursuant to the procedure outlined in ORC 149.39.
Interested applicants must submit an application, cover letter and resume to the Clerk of Council no later than March 14, 2022.
