Effective January 1, 2023, the trash collection rate will increase by $6.00 per month for City residents ($21.50 per month, $64.50 per quarter).
This change comes as part of increased costs in the City’s renewed agreement with Rumpke. There will be no changes in routes, service day, recycling, container rentals, or level of service. The level of service is outlined as six (or fewer) 30-gallon containers (cans/bags), or two 95-gallon trash carts, and up to three large items per service day (exclusive of yard waste such as grass, leaves, or brush) per week. If you have more than this amount or a larger item, please call Rumpke at 800-223-3960 to schedule a bulk pick-up.
