Friday, Feb. 28: Carroll High School standout Mathew McMahan’s college team wins to North Georgia Nighthawks

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Carroll High School standout Mathew McMahan’s current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. This was their first matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field against North Georgia Nighthawks.
