On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Carroll High School standout Mathew McMahan’s current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.

The game took place at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. This was their first matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field against Middle Georgia State Knights.
