City of Kettering, Ohio - Government issued the following announcement on February 11.
The Kettering Volunteer Advisory Council is currently accepting nominations for the 2022 Mayor's Award for Volunteer Service. In order to be eligible for this award, the volunteer should either be a resident of Kettering, or the volunteer service should be performed in Kettering. The volunteer activity can be in a structured setting or on an informal basis. Groups are eligible, as well. Awards are presented by Mayor Patterson at a Kettering City Council meeting in April in support of National Volunteer Week. One adult volunteer and one youth volunteer will be honored with an award.
