City of Kettering, Ohio - Government issued the following announcement on February 10.
As a service to our community, the Kettering Police Department provides an extra layer of protection by offering house checks for residents who are temporarily out of town on vacation, traveling for work, etc. Vacant house checks are not included in this program. House checks will be made as time permits.
