COMMUNITY FORUM for ARPA Funds use discussion

Communityforum

City of Bellbrook issued the following announcement on February 15.

COMMUNITY FORUM for ARPA Funds use discussion

The City of Bellbrook is hosting a Community Forum to gather input from residents considering the use of ARPA funds.  The City has created two primary categories for use of funds with priorities of:

1. Infrastructure, and

2.Far-Reaching Negative Economic Impacts of the Pandemic.

The primary focus will be for Infrastructure, specifically storm water management and thoroughfare repair and improvements.  The secondary focus for far-reaching negative economic impacts will include helping local small businesses, households, and the local government recover from economic impacts.  The City is seeking input for priority projects that fit within those categories for the remaining uncommitted funds.  Use of the funds is governed by rules of the US Treasury, so projects and use of funds will have a narrow focus.

Participants are encouraged to send in their ideas and input ahead of the meeting to: clerk@cityofbellbrook.org for a planned discussion of those topics.
