A Family Adventure at Wilson Pool
The Parks Department will hold the second A Family Adventure program Thursday, June 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilson Pool, 1226 S. Elm St. This series of events are for families to participate in together. The third and fourth events will also be held at Wilson Pool on July 7 and August 4.
The A Family Adventure programs are geared to be a family experience. Children and their parents or guardians, grandparents, or adult siblings will participate in several activities together. The fee is the cost of entry to the pool. Season passes will be accepted or families can purchase the ‘After 5 p.m.’ admission which ranges between $2.30-$2.80 depending upon age. This program is for children ages four years and older. Multiple children can attend per family but, all children must be supervised by the participating adult(s.)
Pegge Bellamy, events coordinator, said “the first event back in the winter was a fun time. We’re excited to offer three pool events this summer and we have lots of different games planned for each evening.” Registration is not required.
