The Centerville Arts Commission is pleased to announce the Centerville Art Gallery will feature the work of several local artists throughout the month of January. The exhibit may be viewed 24 hours a day at the Centerville Police Department, 155 West Spring Valley Road.

The Centerville Arts Commission collaborated with Washington-Centerville Public Library on the A Celebration of Our People, Our Community art contest. The contest spanned four months, each showcasing a different age category.

The following winners were chosen by public voting.

Age Category    Winner

6 – 12 years old    1st place – Colin Gerhardstein

2nd place – Mei Long

2nd place – Lingfei Xing

3rd place – Jackson Zitner

13 – 19 years old    1st place – Mara Caisse

2nd place – Paige Holt

3rd place – Alyssa Grim

20 – 45 years old    1st place – Alison Hunter

2nd place – Brady Bruns

3rd place – Liz Miller

45+ years old    1st place – Ginny Baughman

2nd place – Clarette McClain

3rd place – Ann Johnson

3rd place – Jeff Sanders
