City of West Carrollton issued the following announcement on January 7.
New Instructor-led Painting Party
The city of West Carrollton will begin a new series of instructor-guided painting parties Thursday, January 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at ele’ Cake Company in West Carrollton, 810 E. Dixie Dr.
This will be a quarterly painting series for adults 21 and over. The events will be led by a professional artist, Dina Cain, who has over 30 years’ experience as a painter. Each session will use a different medium and be a seasonally themed painting.
“We are partnering with ele’ Cake Co. which give us ample space to spread out for the event. Ele’ will sell both wine and non-alcoholic beverages. We’ll also have light appetizers and sweet treats,” said Pegge Bellamy, West Carrollton events coordinator.
Registration is required and available here. The cost is $35 per person. The fee includes all materials for painting, appetizers and sweets. Wine & non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase and the West Carrollton String Ensemble will perform.
Monday, January 24, is the last day to register. Additional event dates this year are April 28, July 21 and October 20.
