City of Beavercreek Ohio - Municipal Government issued the following announcement on January 10.

Several projects planned for Beavercreek parks in 2022

The City of Beavercreek’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Division is looking forward to an exciting year with several projects planned for 2022! 

The city's parks staff is currently working on creating a walking path around Virgallitto Park. They will also replace the park’s pedestrian bridge and fence around the playground. 

In addition, you will see several other projects happening in your parks this year including: 

  • Replacing the playground at Royal Pointe Park 
  • Replacing the toddler playground at Shoup Park
  • Developing a master plan for the new Research Park land
  • Replacing the pedestrian bridge at Stafford Park 
  • Developing a hiking trail at Cinnamon Ridge Park 
  • Constructing a neighborhood connection at Virgallito Park  
  • Installing a handicap accessible sidewalk to Merrick Park 
  • Continuing to make handicap accessibility upgrades to city parks
