The City of Oakwood Ohio issued the following announcement on March 21.

Youth Recreational Spring Coed-Soccer

Registration Deadline:  Sunday, March 27 at 11:59 P.M. 

Event Dates:  Wednesdays and Saturdays, April 6, 2022 - May 25, 2022

Event Times:  Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. & Saturdays from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

Each team will practice and play games once during the week, Wednesdays from 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. and Saturdays from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.  Participants who meet the multiple age requirements for more than one OCC soccer program must choose only one program.  This league is focused on fun, education, sportsmanship and teamwork.  Teams will be co-ed 1st through 6th graders playing 7v7.  Teams will consist of 1st through 6th graders playing together on the same teams.

All practices and games take place at Old River Athletic Complex, 225 Old River Trail.

There is no guarantee for team placement after deadline.  

Volunteer coaches are needed!!!  Please fill out a coach's application on MyRec or at the OCC if interested in coaching.  Coaches will be referees.

Coaches always coach their own children and siblings are placed together unless otherwise requested.  All other special requests are not guaranteed.  Special requests must be made by email to hayes@oakwood.oh.us

A mandatory coaches meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 at the OCC from 6:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.  Rules, rosters and schedules will be handed out at this meeting.

  Please Note:  A coach will contact players after the coaches meeting. 

  Complete team schedules will be emailed prior to the first practice.
