Registration for Kettering Safety Village is now open for children entering kindergarten in August 2022. This is a fun, hands-on way for children to learn about all aspects of safety including personal and fire safety, seat belt and school bus safety and understanding traffic signs and signals. Safety Village will have six sessions beginning June 6. Sponsored by the Dor-Wood Optimist Club, Safety Village is operated by the City of Kettering Engineering Safety Section, The City of Kettering is also seeking volunteers to help with Safety Village. Volunteers must be entering grades 6-12 in the 2022-23 school year.
