West Carrollton issued the following announcement on April 8.
City-wide Garage Sale & Large Item Pickup
The first of two West Carrollton city-wide garage sales is scheduled for Saturday, May 7.
West Carrollton residents may register their sale online at no cost here or by emailing recprogram@westcarrollton.org. Please provide a name, address and phone number.
The sale will be advertised online, social media and the City website. The City provides a list of all registered addresses – within West Carrollton city limits – which will be available to download from the website here or to pick up at the Civic Center, 300 E. Central Ave.
The last day to register is Wednesday, May 4. The list of all participating homes will be available on the city website and in the Civic Center lobby by Thursday, May 5, at 3:00 p.m.
The second free bulk and large item trash pickup will be held the following week, May 9-13, on residents’ regularly scheduled collection day. The city will not pick up contractor/remodeling generated or concrete, rock, dirt, loose brush, firewood, tree stumps or root balls. For more information about the bulk pick-up, call (937) 859-8280.
