The Beavercreek Police Department is proud to welcome its newest officer - Jacen Millette. Millette was sworn in this morning by Beavercreek Mayor Bob Stone.
Millette is a 2017 graduate of Beavercreek High School and graduated from Wright State University in May 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. He also obtained an EMT certification in 2021 from Clark State University. He was hired as a police recruit in September 2021 and enrolled in the Greene County Career Center’s Criminal Justice Academy, graduating on March 18, 2022.
Millette expressed an early interest in criminal justice and throughout high school regularly engaged in service activities that would help or benefit others. Along with his calling to serve others, a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility, Millette brings with him integrity, commitment to professionalism, motivation and passion for law enforcement and community service.
During the hiring process, Millette stated that he is very excited about becoming a Beavercreek Police Officer and working in the community he grew up in, so he can make a tangible difference in the lives of the residents and the officers he will serve alongside.
Millette will be assigned to a field training officer to learn the department’s policies and procedures. Upon successful completion of the field training phase, he will be assigned solo patrol under the supervision of a platoon sergeant.
The department welcomes Millette and his wife, Madison, to the Beavercreek Police Department family, and we look forward to his long and successful career with our agency!
