The Parks Department’s Family Adventure programs are expanding to include more dates at the pool and two movie nights.
The next Family Adventure Swim Night is Thursday, July 7, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Wilson Pool, 1226 S. Elm St. The fee is the cost of entry to the pool. Season passes will be accepted or families can purchase the ‘After 5 p.m.’ admission which ranges between $2.30-$2.80 depending upon age. This program is for children ages four years and older. Multiple children can attend per family but, all children must be supervised by the participating adult(s.) The final Swim Night will be held Thursday, August 4.
The first Family Adventure Movie Night will be Friday, July 15, from 8:30-11 p.m. at Weidner Park, 150 E. Central Ave. The movie night will be co-hosted by the West Carrollton Nazarene Church and feature the Disney film Encanto. This is a free event including free popcorn. Kona Ice will also be there beginning at 8:30 p.m. The second Movie Night will be held Friday, August 12.
The Family Adventure programs are geared to be a family experience. Children and their parents or guardians, grandparents, or adult siblings will participate in activities as a group.
